ultrasensible, les photons \u00e9mis in vivo par des cellules transfect\u00e9es ou transduites par un g\u00e8ne codant la lucif\u00e9rase. Cette enzyme catalyse l&rsquo;oxydation de la lucif\u00e9rine (pr\u00e9alablement inject\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;animal) avec conversion de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie chimique en \u00e9mission lumineuse. Les photons lumineux \u00e9mis au sein de l&rsquo;animal sont ensuite d\u00e9tect\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une cam\u00e9ra ultrasensible. Du fait de l&rsquo;autofluorescence et de l&rsquo;absorption de la lumi\u00e8re par les tissus, les applications in vivo se situent essentiellement dans le proche infrarouge (600-800
