This symposium is organized by INEM Laboratory (Experimental and Molecular Immunology and Neurogenetics). It brings together experts in the field to present their latest work on the diversity of the microbiota, its regulation by diet and its pathophysiological implications. The symposium will also be an opportunity to present developments in the national TAAM infrastructure, which offers a complete service for axenic and gnotobiotic animal models.<\/p>\n

Back to the past !!!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Dear user or future user of our platform,<\/p>\n

Do you wish to know the lifespan of mouse embryos when cryopreserved in liquid nitrogen at -196\u00b0C?<\/p>\n

Here is an initial response:<\/p>\n

We have successfully revived a \u00ab\u00a0Nude\u00a0\u00bb strain cryopreserved in April 1985 at the TAAM Orl\u00e9ans (which was called CSAL at that time).<\/p>\n

Two straws of this strain, containing a total of twenty three embryos at the two-cell stage, were thawed. Sixteen embryos were successfully implanted into two pseudo pregnant female mice. Eight offspring were born, including five females and one nu\/nu male.<\/p>\n

After 38 years of cryopreservation of this strain, we achieved a survival rate of 70% for the embryos and a viability rate of 50% for the re-implanted embryos.<\/strong><\/p>\n

These highly satisfactory results demonstrate that the cryoarchiving entrusted to TAAM is well established and sustainable.<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In Vivo Imaging
<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This sector of the TAAM has integrated the MO2VING<\/strong> (MOlecular Organization to in Vivo ImagiNG).<\/p>\n

Established and accredited as IBISA in 2022, MO2VING houses five platforms on the CNRS campus at Orl\u00e9ans, specializing in the molecular characterization of biomolecules and multi-scale imaging from cells to small animals.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
