The TAAM continuously updates and optimises the production and analysis processes within its laboratories by various means :

  • Technological and scientific monitoring: tracking related publications, participating in forums, seminars, work groups…
  • Active participation in network projects: INFRAFRONTIER TWG, Celphedia networks, Réseau Cancéropole Grand Ouest (Great West Cancer-pole Network) etc…
  • Audits, client satisfaction surveys
  • Benchmarking.

We are currently leading the major project of creating a resource of genetically modified model rats and mice with axenic health status (no detectable saprophytic flora). This resource, which will be unique in the academic sector in France, aims to be accessible to the whole scientific community.

The TAAM may be involved in Research programmes or contracts either as a service provider or as an associate as, for example, in the development of probes or of imaging procedures as part of Cancer Research.
